BYZANTINE CANDELABRUM WITH LEOPARD'S HEADS
12th-14th century AD

A silver candelabrum comprising: a dished base with three feet each formed as a leopard's heads with leaf-shaped body, stamped crescents and roundels; conical central pillar with ribbed balusters to the hipped columnar shank; trumpet-shaped mouth with gussetted rim, square-section spike. 525 grams, 41.5cm (16").
